Students of IHM Bhopal celebrated Diwali along with Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat, by preparing a grand Ranoli at the entrance of the Institute Building and sang Bhajans, mainly from Manipur and Nagaland. Students enthusiastically performed the bhajans and played several musical instruments like dholak and manjira. Two dance performances were also presented by students. The entire cultural program was a display of talent and energy of the students of IHM Bhopal.

The institute organised a guest lecture on Sikkim Language on 28th October 2021 at 3 pm. The lecture was organised on online mode through webex. Ms. Peden Bhutia, Seniour Information Assistant Tourism & Civil aviation department, Govet of Sikkkim was the guest lecturer. Students showed a lot of interest in the session. The session was followed by a question / answer session where students got a chance to ask questions about Sikkim.

To inculcate a feeling of responsibility towards a Green Earth and reduction of pollution in the festive season, an offline Essay writing competition was organised at the Institute on the topic ‘Eco-friendly ways to celebrate Indian Festivals’. The students participated with great enthusiasm and suggested creative ways to celebrate responsibly. The Institute involved in an online webinar on the topic “Saanjh-The Virtual Tour To The Land of Gods” on 21th October, 2021 in which Ms. Raasha Sharma and Ms. Simon Kaur have presented first movie of Himachal Pradesh Named Saanjh whereas the village culture, tradition etc. shown in the movie has explained. In which the village life and urban life style has been compared. This movie gives motivation to all those people who have left their village and don’t want to go back to their village. This activity is done with the coordination Of Faculty and the student of paired IHM, Thiruvananthapuram. There were 41 participants in this online activity.
